Snow plowing season started.

We woke up to 2" and still coming down here in SW VA. Freezing rain forecast tonight.

Plow before the rain? Locals are debating, with most saying wait. My prior experience inclines me to plow before ice.

I also plow before ice. I think we are in the minority. Most of my neighbors don't.

I waited with this last one. Good thing too. 1/4" of ice on top of the snow before it ended. Would have been a real mess if I hadn't been able to plow it off with the snow.

weve havn't had much snow, and its really cold. however had the sun come up so we decided to take the horses and sleigh out for a spin

We got about a foot of new snow overnight. Top photo is our snow storage area and about 15ft tall. 2nd is our yard.
