That is one nice setup...you must have sold the truck by now :)

Heads up.... you should reset your mid mount mower deck arm, to the highest position on the nob. They're hanging to low.

Thanks for sharing.

Is that a 6.5' plow? At what point does that wide blade hang the tractor up? (4-6" of dry snow, wet snow etc)

This is my setup from last year, this year the backblade was replaced with a 75' Meteor Blower.

It's a 7.5', the tractor has not hung up yet, thurs it plowed 13" of dry snow in high range, then today 8- 10" of snow, sleet mix. Last winter it moved 6-8" of heavy wet snow with no problem, however, I had to put in low range to push the piles back. All in all it works very well.

Hey Hvytrkmech:
Happy New Year!!
Nice plow setup!!
How about a couple of pics of how you attach the lower arms into the bucket. Is it a relatively quick connect system? Any major stress to the center chain hook? Thanks

Thanks and happy new year to you too! I used an older frame mount for a chevy p/u, however I modded it to fit the angle section of the bucket on my B7610, it was a little bit of steel and welding + 4, 1/2" bolts to hold it in, that way I can just unbolt the frame hookup for the summer. The plow disconnects from the bucket in about 30 seconds (literally), pull the chain off and slide the two pins, you can see all of in the pictures I already posted, however I will take more detailed pics and repost them so you can see it up close. Just be advised the plow I use is 7.5' off a truck and it is heavy, I have to have the spreader atleast 1/2 full to counter weight it. I welded some angle iron on the top of the bucket, look closely at the pics, it does not stress it at all.
overall it does an excellent job, my neighbor has a M/F with a large blower on it, he can't beleive how this little B7610 push's snow the way it does.

This is the top of my driveway,

Hvytrkmech,

Looks like you've got the R4's. How do you like them? How's the snow traction and mud traction on your property - looks like you've got some hills.
Ever wish you had gotten the R1's instead?

No on the R-1's, I like the R-4's, they do slip in the slick mud, however I stay out of slick stuff anyway, as far as snow goes I have not had a single problem yet, the only exception is ice. The R-4's are much easier on my grass to, I mow with a 54" mid mount and have a lot of hill work, not a single problem there either.

As a side note, I usually have the sander fully loaded, so that adds 7-800#'s to the tractor and makes a large difference in the way it push's snow.
