I have a FEL a back blade and a stone driveway.I am still digging it up especially if the ground isnt frozen. Would it be possible to attach a blade to a bush hog since the back wheel would stop the blade digging into the drive. I was thinking of putting the blade between tractor and the bush hog. It would have to have a slant so that the snow moved off. Another thought would just running the bush hog act as a crude snowthrower. it would probably clear the width of the hog.

It would probably be easier to add gauge wheels to your rear blade and run it in float mode. The wheels would roll along the drive and keep the blade from digging in.

I've heard guys using the back blade with the blade backwards until the gravel is frozen, and then turning it forwards thereafter.

I've only had my machine for a short time now, and still just using the FEL on my gravel driveway - but up here in New Hampshire the gravel's frozen pretty well: I tried to scrape some gravel off the high points to fill some of the dips, but it's almost like shoveling concrete.

For what it's worth, you can curl the bucket up slightly to keep the buckets cutting edge from peeling the drive...
