I picked up a snow plow set up at a tag sale the other day that had been used as a over the bucket rig.It includes the hydraulic cylinders for angle change, springs to let it swivel down and the shoes or skids that space it from the ground plus a seperate frame that attached to the bucket. I have been told (and it makes sense) that it is much better to plow with the rig in place of the bucket rather than on the bucket and I plan on doing that on my Century c-50 loader (on a 3040) Does anyone have expierience with a good set up that works this way and can provide pictures?
What is a tip and tilt set up for a box blade and why are they useful? also one of the dealers I was talking to about my rocky (walnut to sheep size and on up to school bus) "soil" (or is that soily rocks?)
describes a "rock bucket" which is a sort of mesh bucket made of straps of metal with several inches in between to let the soil drop out. anyone seen one? I wonder if it might be usefull for me as I am getting stumps bulldozed out and it will leave many large stones to pick up
Thanks! Mark
