Snow Pictures Please!

Hello Eric, Know your area pretty well, this is a picture of my Nephews home in Mexico NY last winter. He sent us a bunch of snow pictures, but this is the only one I have on my computer.

This is Ron on the roof of his house. He is 5'10".

Well, that's impressive Wayne. A couple of years ago I saw a guy up on his roof with a push snowblower! I thought the guy was nuts!

Thanks Wayne. The only orange on that roof should be a For Sale sign I like the winter and tonight when I got home from second shift I took a walk in the woods behind the house just because it was snowing. So quiet, pretty and peaceful. I only jumped a few deer, most of them know me and stayed in their beds. Really neat stuff. Here in Allegany county we don't get the snow like Frostburg, also Allegany county, and Garrett county get but we get enough to keep me happy. Thanks for posting those pictures. I have often wondered how the people who each winter measure snow in feet live and now I can see it.

I can only imagine that when you folks up north see the first leaf fall you fall back in love. For those that don't , it must be heck spending nine months of winter in a house with a............well you get my point

Here's a few I took a while back. The first is out the back window looking at the back yard.

This one is just some icicles hanging from the front door awning. I liked how the camera focused on the icicles.

The last one is some trees in the front yard after some freezing fog.

I took these this morning after pushing my banks back with the dozer after again another snow storm here in western Maine.

Here's a couple more. We have plowed 154" thus far. Additionally there was appoximately 12" in scattered trace to 2" storms that we did not plow.

Nice picture of the Oshkosh! Way back in the 50's I use to ride around in an old Osh up in Up-state New York. We had a major rock on the back that was larger than a VW bug!

Going to be a tough year to tap the trees!

Ok, I'm going to have to start thinking about blowing the driveway out soon. OK, I thought about it ... I'm going snowmobiling instead. There's nothing else on the roads right now. Since I took the second picture, it is really starting to come down. Wish that 5425 would hurry up and get here!
