Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Snow on April 1, 2008- no April's Fools joke

Here in western Colorado, nestled in a valley near the Grand Mesa, we had a white-out on April 1st - then it got to 58 degrees yesterda, and now, it's snowing again!! Worst darn winter in living memory (according to the old-timers here). We just move here from Central Texas a little over a year ago - and I'm told it's in 80's there!!! grrr. Tired of that white stuff!

Nice picture! I'm glad someone else at TBN got to experience the wet snow. We drove the circle route around Lake Superior in August 2006 and drove through your town and stayed in Ashland-vey nice area! I recall a classic car event going on there at the time.

I hope to do the circle route one of these years. Ashland is 10 miles south and I probably know some of a the attendees at that car show. Small world huh!!!!

The ice wasn't near that bad Northland but there were lots of tree branches on the ground. Driving was sorta fun too!

Yesterday I thought I would attempt to plough the road up my mountain with the tractor but as you can see from the pictures there was too much snow.

I did cut down my big yellow birch that had died two years ago and dragged it out with the tractor

Nice pictures and that is beautiful!!! Why not crank-up the blower and get that stuff in the woods??

Dan-the snow is like wet cement so the blower won't do anything with it. It's been warm (55F for the high) here so it will melt soon enough
