We received another 20 cm (8") or so of snow Monday night and all day Tuesday.

Fortunately it cleared up in the evening and I was able to snow blow it
out. The snow was so heavy I broke three shear bolts off on my tractor's
snow blower.

The worst part was having to shovel all that wet heavy snow off the
decks and steps. Each shovelful actually stuck hard to my plastic
ergonomic Garant shovel.

The pictures will give you an idea of how much snow we still have here
in Searchmont Ontario.

This morning it was -16C!

April Fool's indeed!

See attached pictures from yesterday

Yesterday it was 60 F in Dimock, Pa. This morning it was windy 29 F with a light coating of snow. The sun melted the snow off by 10 AM.

You fellows are having your share of snow this winter Northland. The New Brunswickers are getting theirs too.:D :D :D It will be a winter to remember.

Way back in 1968 I can recall driving from Alberta to Nova Scotia. It was a learning experience. Left Calgary at -25 F. Ontario and Quebec with snow drifts up to the eves of houses. The ice covered everything in Ontario. The snow turning to six inches of slush on the New Brunswick roads and then seeing rain and green grass on the east coast. Going back via the US and around the Great Lakes area there were times there was an inch of ice/slush on the car.

This winter on the East Coast the snow comes and goes but winter is hanging in for ever. Cabin fever seems to be quite prevalent!:( :(

We got 12 inches of that wet heavy chute chokin stuff over on the other side of the big pond. I got home at 8am and got down around 11:30. Normally takes me little over an hour. Pretty though!!!

Nice picture! I'm glad someone else at TBN got to experience the wet snow. We drove the circle route around Lake Superior in August 2006 and drove through your town and stayed in Ashland-vey nice area! I recall a classic car event going on there at the time.

If I was real ambitious I could probably find some pictures/slides from that 68 trip. There was lots of snow out East!:D :D :D
