That's awesome, Don. Your house really is on a serious slope, isn't it? Wow! Nice photo of the does. What do you use to get corn to your feeder? Do you have to lug it down that slope by hand?

Jinman, I ain't lying when I say it's severely tilted! I have found shells and what appears to be dead coral about half way down the hill side. There's a line of it that runs around the valley. I believe this area was part of an inland sea during the Mesozoic period and my hill was the top of an island.

I pack the corn in by hand, I throw the bag over my shoulder, it rides well and it's only about 50 yards.

I stand on the rock by the feeder to fill it. Living here is getting me in good shape.
