And how did the snow get in there, you ask??? Well, because I'm a STOOPID - that's how. Battery was dead so I went to change it - took air/oil filter vent stack off to open hood ....... and never went back. 15" dump and just realizing I didn't put that vent cover back on. How screwed am I? It honestly doesn't look like much went down there, but, ...we all know some did.

See pics. Shame me if you must, I deserve it. Recommendations appreciated.

Jay

its not a big deal, i pour literal water into intakes to deal with carbon,, blow out the tube with an air compressor, and get it running and warm

Take off the oil cup and clean out the center pipe. Change the oil and reassemble. Should not be an issue.

Jay,

Like everyone said, don't sweat it. It ain't a big deal, a bit of oil and water does not mean it gets sucked in to combustion chambers. Just take the bottom oil bowl out , dump the oil and water, wipe clean with a rag, fill with whatever oil you have (not cooking oil) and put it together and you're good to go. Need to undo the holding ring and the bowl comes right out. Make sure the ring covers the lip on the mating pieces and snap it shut. it does have a bit of tension. You don't want the bottom bowl rattle and off the assembly. Below is the older pic but now I have an additional zip tie there as I know it is difficult to find replacement. I rather cut the secondary zip tie than make or buy a replacement bowl.
