I just got one with my new BX25 last fall. The machine will really throw some snow that's for sure. I was able to move 20" deep snow without problem. Real wet slushy stuff...not so much. Clogs the chute solid. Also, until you get used where you can and can't go keep a good supply of shear bolts handy. I went through a half dozen or so.
It would be nice if you could drop the blower and mount the fel without removing the quick hitch mount but no dice. All in all I would say if it snows a lot where you are then it's well worth it. If you just get little bit at a time or mostly rain/snow events there may be better ways.
My Dad has the same setup for about 5 years now and it has worked flawlessly over this time. Where he lives they get considerable amount of snow, so it has really gotten a workout. The only thing to maybe consider is the addition of tire chains.
Be prepared to be covered with snow when the wind blows the snow back towards you... Assuming you don't have a cab.
I've used a rear mount snowblower in the past and would never recommend one over a front mounted one if you can afford the increase in price.
