Snow Snow blower rubber scraper

Posted before about a Cub 2542 with a 42" snowblower and got some good suggestions. Going to try again. Same tractor, same snowblower. Has anyone tried to put a rubber scraper on the bottom edge of their snowblower? If so, what were the results and where did you get the scraper? I have tried all of the obvious; ebay, Tractor Supply etc etc. Any recommendations good or bad?

I would make a plastic one (uhmw) you can order any size or thickness

Yep!
Use HDPE as your cutting edge and you'll like it.

In another world we used FDPE as a liner for aircraft skis to create a non stick base.

This fall I lined my snow blower chute and have not had a single blockage as of yet while in previous years I'd sometimes clog 5-6 times per snow fall.

To comply with municipal requirements my friend is replacing his huge 8 ft loader mounted blower cutting edge with HDPE.
Just yesterday I helped him install that edge.

You can cut, machine HDPE just the same way as if it was wood.
