Thanks to everyone who has posted.
Update Time.......
The tractor is fine
When I made my long story short I did not say that it was my father that had actually put the tractor to work and complained of the smoke and loss of power. When I ran the tractor later it was fine...I believe that the tractor just burnt off the slight excess oil remaining and that the smoke alarmed my father...rightly so:laughing: I did check the air filters and they are great. I am going to address the misprint issue pronto!!!

Bobcat puts out a great product and I am very happy with the 225FEL and I have the Bobcat 2300 Utility vehicle with FEL and mower deck I love them:thumbsup:

Sure glad everything worked out for you. I can imagine the sick feeling you must have had when this happened, a person buys an expensive piece of equipment and wants to take the best care of it, thinking you are doing everything right and something goes wrong. I don't know why but I always take a look at the dip stick before starting any of my equipment after an oil change, then I start it and watch for leaks. Then I shut it down and let it sit a while, check the oil again and top off if needed.
