smoke

I posted before about smoke coming from the breather tube. I buy hay off a guy that has an old 62 farmall an the smoke really comes out of his breathe tube. I ask him if that was doing that very long ? He said he bought it in 68 re done it in 85 an as far as he knew it was doing it when he bought it. Also said that it lets everything breath in the upper part of the engine. I don't know but mine seems to just do it on start up (just every now an then ) or when I work it hard. Either way I have no loss of power no water going any where.... Thanks for all of the in put on the last post
