I have been chipping spruce for several years with a NH T1520. Great tractor but 95% of the time it is chipping or moving a boat trailer. I think a smaller tractor would be easier to store and use in the woods. Summer home so no snow work but a belly mower would be useful.
When I bought this tractor five years ago they were talking 5hp at the PTO for each inch of chipper and I was planning on a 6" chipper, but ended up with the 4".
I haven't kept up with the newer models, any recommendations?
