I am looking into a rock bucket for the 3032E with 305 loader. Do you think the 66 inch John Deere rock bucket is too large for this loader? Do you know of options for a smaller rock bucket, something with less depth around 4 - 5 foot? I can find smaller rock buckets but they require a skid steer universal quick attachment, is there an option to use these buckets on the 305 loader?

Do a search on Bing or Google for "rock buckets Deere quick attach" bear in mind there are numerous companies that make a variety of buckets that should fit your tractor. You can always inquire about your specific loader too. Here is one example,

jdbnh is bitter about John Deere for some reason, I tend to ignore him most of the time.

Thanks for all of the information, I really appreciate it. I really like the 3032E, but I'm still having a hard time finding a small rock bucket for the 305 loader. I want to find something similar to this:

Virnig Compact Rock Bucket
60 inches wide, 32 inches deep, 330 pounds

The 55" Brandco is the closest, but only 23" deep. The same for the Frontier 55" rock bucket, only 23" deep. The Gator 60" rock bucket is 605 pounds. Other buckets are designed for a larger tractor and are too heavy as well.

Does anyone know of a 4 - 6' rock bucket, around 32" deep, under 400 pounds, which will attach to the 305 loader? Alternatively, do you know of a way to attach the Virnig bucket, which takes the standard skid steer quick attachment (I called the company and they don't offer an attachment adapter)?

I should mention that I have the R66 rock bucket for my 110tlb and it can be quite alot to handle at times since you have to shake the bucket to sift out the fines. Also, the 2.93 or 3" spacing will allow some good sized rocks to fall thru.

Depends on what you need to do but you might find something with 2" spacing would be a better choice.

See if they will sell you it without the SSQA mount-just ask for a "plain back" adding the JDQA "hooks" and "pins" is very easy if you weld, or you could hive it done locally.

Kenny,
I need a box blade for the JD 3320 you assisted me on in the past. The dealer has provided Frontier 65" quotes which I need to absorb tonight.

He also gave me a JD grapple quote as I need one, but my wife is tired of my tractor purchases, so this one may be in the future.

I noticed you have the Markham LD-48 Grapple with JDQA.
- What box blade do you recommend for the JD 3320 as I have a lot of ditching and road work to do?
- What is the number for getting a Markham quote? Is the QA reference "quick attachment" and if so is this the same as the Quick Hitch?
- I noticed you said "hoses arrived the next day" for the grapple. How hard were they to install?

Thanks for the help. (Still green, but getting better!)

Jim, I am no box blade expert by any means...The Frontier will be pricey but well built. You should see if they (or another dealer-any color) sells Woods BB's as they make the Frontier ones anyway.

As for the grapple. Markham is now Gator Attachments. Would absolutely recommend the LD-48 with the JDQA (John Deere Quick Attach) for your machine.

I bought the hoses and QD's (quick disconnects) locally to ensure they fit well. They supply hoses that are to big and to long IMHO.
