Hey guys, I've just found out how to start a thread from my iPhone & add pics so thought Id show a couple of projects I've done in the UK - they're all very small compared to your multiple acre homes, but hopefully interesting all the same!

A small decking & sandstone patio area, the white wall has small 15mm LED lights in it.
The gravel & sandstone project is near the beach, hence the coastal feel of chunky timbers & big architectural plants etc.

Thanks guys! I run a small landscaping firm and these are client jobs we've done this year.
I'll try & put some more "tractor" focused projects on later today - mainly taming grass with my Jd x540!

I too like the combination of stone, brick, and wood.

The fourth picture shows decking that seems to be grooved. Can you tell us more about it?

Very Nice, love the stone and wood mix.

Thanks, the client wanted a zero maintenance garden that she could entertain in, hence 2 raised decks & a patio- lovely stone to work with too.

For sure - apologies for a very very late reply!!
It's a standard pressure treated grooved deck board, widely used in the uk.
Generally, our timber decking is always grooved to aid grip in our wet weather (and there's lots of that!). It's 38mm x 125mm which also curved edges to be easily "bent" on the vertical faces.

I've watched a lot of a US show called "decked out" & it seems that plastic decking is the product of choice over there? How does it compare cost wise with timber?
