I think any dealer that won't service a tractor bought at a box store should take business 101. These people are potential future customers, they will need to buy parts and eventually a new tractor. Why not make money on the servicing of the tractor and selling of parts while building a relationship with them and hopefully earning their business with a new tractor some day. Makes no sense to me.

Exactly. You could understand a CC dealer addressing their high rolling customers first (anybody would), but refusing to take in a CC product because it was purchased elsewhere is just plain wrong. I know this horse has been beaten many times on the boards, but it's bad practice and hurts the brand name. Different product, but you don't have to take your vehicle to the selling dearlership for warranty work. Any dealer that service that line will accommodate. On the other hand, Today if I were to take my 2544 to the dealer I bought it from, or the other local dealer for service, I'd be waiting 2-4 weeks easy anyway. Bottom line? Hope she doesn't break during the mowing months. Or hope you can fix it.
