Snow Slipping & Sliding in the snow!

Hey Jim,

I got this real love - hate thing going on with your pictures. They're very nice with great detail...but the file size is so big that many of us out in the sticks (as in dial up) have to wait several minutes for just a few to load. Could you kick them down to around 100 so I (WE) can load them all and see them much faster?

Thanks,

Mark

Sure, no problem. I'll resize the pictures and repost. Thanks for the input.

Guys, I surely wish I had your snow problems. It's dry here in North Carolina and I picked a heck of a year to dig a pond. Had this place 21 years and finally dug the pond and wouldn't you know it. Driest year on record.
Maybe I will get some of your runoff.

wash your truck or tractor....surest way I know to get rain.......

but then again, the surest way I know to induce a drought, is to dig a pond.....

not sure how that would come out......get back to us and let us know....lol

Hey Guys,

How about packing up some of that slush and sending it our way. We need the water in the worst way. This is the worst drought I have seen in living here for 30 years. All the best for the holidays.

I try to stay positive about things, so the positive thing about digging a pond during a drought is when I get free time and get a chance to get on the tractor, I dig the pond deeper.
I told my wife in August that it would be full by Christmas. I'm glad I didn't tell her in what year.

Happy Holidays to all and pray for rain

Here is the setup I made for pushing snow using a craftsman 48" snow blade. Works great! Tractor is a YM1401D.

I have since added a 5 foot King Kutter rear blade to this set up allows me to sweep snow from in front of the tractor and also from side. My blade is a 6-way so have offset it to the right and angled it. Gives me about 6 foot clearance using both blades.

Sounds like a great setup. I think I'll take the plunge and buy the kk rear blade...probably a 5 footer. About $300 or so.
