Anyone add bellows to protect their hydraulic cylinder rods.

I was looking at the slip over kind ( kind of pricey).

I park my tractor in a shed.

The thought occurred to me many years ago. I did not follow through with it because of concerns about trapping debris inside the bellows. As the cylinder rod extends and retracts the bellows must breath. If in the process it takes in dust and water that "muck" can sit on top of the cylinder unseen.
I have never had a cylinder rod rust and if the dust seals in the cylinder are doing their jobs, there should be no contaminate issues. Best thing is to keep it out of the weather when not in use.
