I'll be using by rotary cutter in the next few days for the first time this spring/summer. It has been setting idle for about 7 months. Should I check the adjustment of the slip clutch, and if so, how do i do it?

Hi ya
well if it has been shed stored and looked after it should be ok your owner book should tell you how to set your clutch .the plates can get some rust on them tho one way is to strip/clean check plate wear and reset some back the plates off and run for a few seconds to brake the rust and shine the clutch plates then reset i have seen plates that with that much rust and crap in them that they will not slip at all
catch ya
