slighty used 3010 HST

I have been looking at 3010s . A dealer called with the price of $14,500 on an HST with 15 hrs. It is pretty much std.and outfitted with turfs and a 72" MMM. It can be outfitted with a new loader for another $3500. He says it has 1 yr. left on the warranty. This price seems to be about $2500 under the "new" quotes I have received for identically equipped tractors. I would like the R4s but might compromise to save some $s with this tractor. Does it seem like a deal worth persuing?

15 hrs is nothing to a tractor. If you are going to do mowing, you should probably stick with the truf tires. The R4's can mow, but they will leave an imprint. Especially if the ground is soft!

The price seems reasonable for the tractor, but the loader may be a bit high. Can you look around for loaders and install one your self? If so, you may be able to save a few hundred. Of course, a few hundred is a small price compared to the whole package and having the dealer responsible for the quality of the loader operations.

I would pursue it.

That's a very good price if it includes the mmm, which would retail at about $3000. Only turf tires are compatible with the 72" mmm on a 3X10 Kubota; R4's are not available. I researched this question just last week. So if you want a 3X10 with R4s, you have to go to a 3ph mower. Not many people buy a 3X10 with a mmm, so that is why you are probably walking into a good price deal.

Sounds like a very good deal to me, but if you are going to finance it check on used vs new rates, might make a differance with the promo Kubota credit runs.
