Skunks are out!

Pew! The strong smell wafted in the bedroom window last night for a long while. Way too long!
This morning, a could see where there had been so digging going on adjacent to the electrical ground rod. Not much between patio pavers, but it must have been the reason the critter lingered....along with it's odor.
Bugs or worms in the sandy soil against the house foundation?

I never mind the smell of them around here. We really never smell them at all. We had one hang around a few years ago that really made a mess though. That thing would dig up the yard something crazy. He would just walk along digging back and forth like he was mowing the lawn. What a mess to fill and flatten though I’m sure he enjoyed the grubs.

Deal with them every spring,along with the coons and possum.Already caught two possum.
I have birds so have to keep them under control.My NYS permit allows me to protect my birds(pheasant).

I had skunks set up housekeeping next to the chicken pen. I hung a couple flood lights by the carport controlled by a sunlight sensing switch. Within a week the skunks had gone house hunting elsewhere.
