TBone .... I skiied for the first time when I was 40 or so .... due to lack of available time, I'm still pretty green ... so I stick to green ... and find it a blast! In Canada, we had a famous old fella by the name of "Jackrabbit" Johannsen who pretty well got the entire country into cross-country skiing. He was skiing daily while in his 90's! Bottom line ... if he and I can ... no reason why you can't.
They have runs or "hills" for every skill level ... even my wife who gets a nosebleed standing on a kitchen chair!
As the old commercial used to say ... try it, you'll like it!

Thanks for the invite, Wingnut. I love the cold and snow (we don't get much of that in Mississippi) - Who knows, I might give it a try sometime. It looks like a lot of fun. My wife and I are supposed to go to Vancouver in October. We have never been on the Pacific coast side before. Looking forward to it. TBone
