The ATI product it just mates to your exisitng quick attach adapter and allows you to quickly switch between regular and skidsteer atachments - albiet with a slight reduction in lift capacity because the additional weight and extension.

Although the picture on their web site of the JD front end would lead me to believe the same, if you look through the product manuals it appears that it replaces your existing attachment brackets just like the Deere model. I ordered my tractor with the JD Skid Steer adapter. I wouldn't have it any other way. Changing from one thing to another is painless and very quick and all my attachments are more versatile and not brand specific...
