i am building a skid steer loader ...using two truck rear ends ,with brakes for steering...i am going to use hydrailc moters on the rear ends ....any idea what kind of moter i should use ??? i want to make sure i get one strong enough to do what i want....any ideas would be great....open to better ideas....thanks for the help...bneal .....also would like to hear about any homemade tractors or equipmet....thanks

I think copying the SSL set-up
would work better.
W/ a hydro drive on each side.
The counter rotate is one of the handier
features of SSL.
Also u would need 'open' rear ends for steering
so at best u would only have 2 wheel drive when
going forward or reverse.
The drive motors on my Deere run
about 20 gpm together.
