Front-End Loader skid steer adapter to fit front end tractor loader??

I just added one to my Challenger (AGCO) FEL. Mine cost me about $800. Looks a little different than the one an ebay.

I got one because I want to change between my bucket and forks frequently. I cut off the tip of my finger trying to line up the pin holes one time before I made the change . . . . .

Has anyone actually got one of these and can you tell me of your experience? I like the idea of putting one on because of the broad array of attachements that are readily available especially on the used market and at great prices. I also like the improved visability of this system.

My dealer installed the skid steer quick attach adapter on the pins of my Mahindra 5525 FEL (the ML250 FEL made by Buhler/B.I.I. Fargo). Adapter cost $600. You need to weld a skid steer receiver assembly on the backside of the bucket. Mine is a standard design from Gearmore $200). Dealer did the welding. Skid steer QA works fine.

I'm building a bale accumulator now that will have a $75 skid steer receiver I found on eBay.

Check around. There are plenty of suppliers for skid steer QA stuff with a fairly wide range of prices.
