Kubota B-3000
Only after two easy seasons of snow blowing I had to replace my Kubota's B-2782a skid shoes.
I opted to replace with this harder material.

"The FORA 400 which is a water quenched martensitic steel, with a typical hardness of 400HB (42.5 HRC), constituting a real answer to abrasive wear.
Thanks to its toughness, its elevated hardness, its high yield strength, FORA 400 can be used wherever resistance to wear by sliding or by moderate impacts is required.

Compared to conventional steels, such as S355, FORA 400 offers a real benefit to equipment life times and allows a significant
thickness reduction in designs since its wear resistance is up to 3 times longer than S355 grade. "

Redid mine this year also.
Had some T1 (what is used for dozer blades) that I used for the skid shoes. That should outlast my blower LOL!
Made mine 2" wide X 10" long so I don't blow gravel all over the place, once my base is made I remove the skid shoes otherwise I have a slushy base when the spring thaw comes.
