Sitrex HM300 Haybob Review

   / Sitrex HM300 Haybob Review #2
I have one of these and have used it for about 25 years. I do about 20 acres.
Keep a supply of the little retraction springs handy to replace those that break. Oil the moving parts of the fingers both pre and post raking as they become sticky and will occasionally get stuck in the down position and allow the fingers to bend if they contact the ground if not rotating. They will also be difficult to move from the tedding position to the raking position if they are dry.
Keep the tires fully inflated or when you turn you will peal them off the rims.
Have a side delivery rake to clean up all the stuff this leaves on the field when making wind rows.

Interesting. I just use a Kuhn Masterdrive rotary rake, never have to ted anymore. Have a nice 2 basket tedder sitting in the barn.
