Single Plow Attachment for a Massey Ferguson subcompact

I have a MF 1710 22HP subcompact I would like to use to plow a garden plot (currently grass/field). Does anyone know who makes these that will fit a subcompact and/or know where to purchase a 3 pt. hitch single plow for an MF subcompact? Thank you.

I know years ago bmb in holton ks built blades, rotary mowers, plows, etc. They sold out to Alamo group and moved the plant to Illinois. That is one place to check. Also king cutter in Alabama makes rotary mowers, tillers, little 3 pt disks, blades, etc. That maybe another place to check. If you have a tractor supply or an orschelns, you migut check with them and see if they have an outlet and can order you one. Other options it take out a wanted to buy ad in your newspaper or watch for one at an auction. You will definitely want to stay with a one bottom plow. Hope this helps.

I just checked king litter on the internet, the have a wide selection of " toys" for our smaller tractors complete with a telephone number. I think if it were me I'd check with them Monday morning.

Tractor supply sells one that should fit. County Line Middle Buster $169. It's not specific to subcompacts but I think it will work. I bought the similarly designed subsoiler which is a good bit longer and hangs too low for transport due to the limited hitch lift but I think the middle buster would clear enough or you can always take it off and transport in loader bucket. They also sell a shorter subcompact model but it's $199 and online only and shipping is half the price of the plow.

By the way. I'm most likely will be picking one of these up too. Besides the middle buster Should I go with a disc harrow or spend the money on a tiller?

You tractor is too light to pull a Disc Harrow that will be effective.

A PTO powered Roto-tiller will be MUCH more effective.

I suggest a tiller. I purchased one for my garden and its nice. I know for some its hard to pull the trigger bc of price. I have used it for other odd ball jobs around the house.

By the way. I'm most likely will be picking one of these up too. Besides the middle buster Should I go with a disc harrow or spend the money on a tiller?
