Picked up a Simplicity ZT4000 on sale a few weeks ago. I don't bag grass and I like to mulch so I bought the mulching kit. For some reason the mower must have changed in 2012 so a mulching kit for pre-2012 units will not fit 2012 and up units.
Mulching kit part number for 2012-up models is 5600526.
This machine is very solidly built... especially the fabricated deck. It is very heavy. No thin sheet metal shrouding underneath. All very heavy gauge.
