Ok, so... Now Toro is offering a $200.00 discount on the MX. Can anyone tell me anything more about these units? I want the hydro zt2800s and the larger tires on the Simplicity but I'm not sure about the 12 gauge frame and deck. Also, I've read that the two blade deck and manual lift of the Toro is desirable over the long haul simply because it is a less complicated system- less to break down. If I get the Toro will I be buying a new zt in five to ten years because the trannies will burn out? Are the zt2800s rebuildable?

I plan on maybe 50 hrs a season which will include at least 15 or so hrs towing a leaf sweeper. I do have a 30 yd slope which is about 10-12* incline. If not for the need to collect leaves I'd probably go for a commercial walk-behind like an Exmark Metro or Scag sfw.

BTW The 2014 Simplicity changes the specs to a fabbed 48" deck but no $300.00 rebate. I think that deck is too wide for my property. I have no gates but do have a couple of tight spots and undulations where I can see the 48" being a problem, in addition to taking up more space in storage.

Thanks:confused3:
