Simplicity Regent 15 HP Regency, No power in Reverse Tuff Torque 46 Hydro

Hi, I Have a Regent 15 HP With a Tuff Torque 46 Rear, I don't have full range in the gear handle, But there does not seem to be anyway to get more.

I also don't always have power in Reverse some times it will go other times not. Also the Detent for Lock and unlock has to be pushed into a certain spot for it to work at all. Not all the way in or out.

I don't know much about the mower, It was given to me, the thing looks new ( I know it is not ) I took it to teh dealer and they put a new bushing in the front shifter area, and they said they think the rear may be going out but are not sure.

Any ideas on what the issue may be or what to check?
