I have a MF 2823, which is a Prestige clone. The deck comes off easy, but doesn't go back on nearly as simple. If you have a manual, follow the instructions to take the deck off, but in reverse, to the detail.
Turn the front wheels on the mower all the way to the left, then work the deck in from the right side. It takes some work, but when the front mounting hitch on the deck is just about touching the right front wheel, push the deck all the way back against the rear tire, and with the front edge of the front hitch on the ground, push the deck under until the hitch clears the tire. It's a close fit and you may have to work the front hitch a bit to get it to clear the tire. I hope that works for you, that's the best I can do from memory
Another tip: when you get to hooking the chains at the back on the deck to the lift, instead of trying to lift the edge of the deck and slip the chain over the lift hook, just use the deck height adjustment crank to raise the back on the deck by lowering the roller. That way you don't have to support the weight of the deck while fighting to slip the chain over the hook. The manual doesn't mention this, but doing it by the manual with the roller raised all the way up and the deck flat on the ground almost requires 3 hands.
