I decided to title my topic as I did based upon a belief that some of the most enjoyable experiences in life are the simplest ones. Here is mine.

Many of us have experienced the frustration/anger of dealing with the new fuel containers that have a poor system of venting which results in low flow as well as fuel spitting back and spilling over mowers, tractors, chainsaws and everything that we use that requires fuel. So, I purchased a package of the yellow vents with retaining lip for fuel cans off of ebay. At about $1.50 each including shipping, I now have a fuel can that flows just the old days with less "piddling back". The seller advises to be prepared for a smile the next time you use your fuel can. He was absolutely correct.

I would love to find the clown, or group of clowns, and the clown supervisor, clown department director, and the top dog clown at EPA and show him/her a video of delivering fuel with the modified container vs. the unmodified container to see which one keeps more lethal gasoline/vapors in my mower fuel tank.
