They need to do something with the square wheel wells. Never cared for them.

I like it.

Can't say I liked the old design (too much chrome on some models) or this new design much, but I prefer the old design overall, especially in the trim levels where it was toned down. Be interesting to see if they change the GMC Sierra too -- I hope not, as the front end is one of my favorite things about the truck. It just looks mean and clean.

With the new Chevy front end, they are going to a single projector headlight for high/low beams, like the Sierra has had since 2014. The previous Chevy arrangement with separate beams put out superior light to the GMC setup, so I suspect the new Chevy lights will be a downgrade.

I love the new look , as for square wheel wells.............I guess everyone could design a cookie cutter truck the same as everyone else, or steal their design cues from Toyota , ...........GM and Ram have at least done their own thing................its a truck not a sedan !
As for lighting: GMC upgraded the lamps and did a computer flash to modify the voltage going to them so that the low beams on the projector lamps do not have such an abrupt horizontal line where the shutter cuts off the lamp to make it "low beam"..this is available free on 2014 models and I assume fixed now on 2015 and 2016.

I like it, but am not likely going to abandon my 2007 Classic edition anytime soon when it has less than 50K miles on it.

I've got my eye on the 3500HD suburban coming. Mine has 110k on it and a 3500 suburban has been a long wait. Had a 1999 2500 4x4, loved it, the current 2009 Z71 is nice and a better ride day to day. HS

I think the manufactured tire size on the GM trucks makes their fender well design look out of place. My buddies 2011 HD looked very silly, like donut spares, until he finally replaced the original tires with a couple sizes larger. Now the fender wells aren't nearly as noticeable. He's now shopping for his first Ford ever. :confused3:
