Here in Noway nobody except horse people uses hay, the road are filled with tractors and trailers with bales.

If the bales are layer over on its side like they are in the picture above. You can slide pallet forks below them and pick them up without damaging the plastics. But it is much easier to move and stack them with the bale grabbers.
