Signs of winter\'s end

Here's a pic of my 55 Dodge parts truck. When the ice pillar behind it melts completely, spring will be here. Already it's eight feet shorter than it was a week ago! Only a foot and a half of snow left in the meadow! Yippeee!

Most people would think you have lost your mind, commenting on piles of snow. However, I am doing the same thing /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I saw my first robin the other day, a sure sign that spring is here. I can't wait until my backhoe (under a tarp) is visible. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Jason -- I'm with you! I stored my backhoe under a tamarack and tarp about a hundred yards in the field...now with all the snow still on the ground (and the mud to follow) I wish I had parked it closer to the house! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
