Ken,
As for the MFG, I can only speak about the current CCM Super 65 & Super 80 mowers. Are there other MFG's out there using the Super name? Yes
CCM is the Brand Name and the Super 65 & Super 80 are models CCM is selling. I do know the G&S has sold a Super 70. The word Super is used by thousands of MFG's. I can not tell you about other distributors or MFG's that copy a model's name and try to make their way easier by using the success of the CCM Super 65 & 80 mowers. Sicma copied LandPride and I'm sure that others will copy the successful models that CCM manufacturers and markets.

Hi Rich--We are not the seller of mowers in question and only CCI would be able to tell us the country that manufactured his low end sickle bar mowers?--I have been reading posts for almost a year about ths very question and have yet to hear Marks answer??--I already know the answer, just thought the forum would benefit from this info direct from the seller--Ken Sweet

If you want new, New Holland and Sitrex make a pretty decent model. I have a liking for the old John Deere 350. Easy to find parts as they made a pile of them. Good luck. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

OK Ken or Mark: What are you trying to tell me. Is this a good mower for the price? Also will others work on my 30 HP Kubota? I want a dependable sickle bar belt driven that will cut up and down some banks and around my fishing pond and may also cut 8 to 10 acres of hay with it. My tractor is just a compact size 4wd hydro trans but does not have a lot of bulk or weight. The new holland 450 and 455 has been recommend. The comments around here is stay away from Massey Ferguson. Comments welcome and I do appreciate all of you for your previous comments.

As far as used mowers, the NH 450 & 451 are the pick of the lot. You might want to measure your tractors tire spacing and hitch, because these mowers were designed for full size utility tractors and the hitch and offset may not be compatible with your tractor. If it fits, any of these mowers are great for what you want to do. Many of the used mowers will not fit and work properly on the compact tractors. If it does not fit a good dealer will refund your money if you return it promptly. This is why I designed the Super 65 to fit compact & sub-compact tractors.

That link goes to a fine picture of implements, but it doesn't give a clue as to who they are /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

More information, please. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The commercialism and poor grammer made me pretty unhappy when I read this thread. Buy ads or get off the forum. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

The commercialism making you unhappy, but you suggest to buy commercial ads. Either you aren't aware of what the contradiction means or you haven't realized the ads of CCI and Sweettractors. I see their banners at top of forums.

By the way, I have seen same(?) sickle bar mower also on their web site of Agri Supply
http://www.agri-supply.com/catmain/2000009.htm
mentioning that it fits compact tractor.
I won't be surprised if we soon see the same sickle bar mower also on their web site of First Choice Equipment.
There is no country border for such great international companies like Agri Supply, CCI, FC, etc serving farmers all over the country and the world.. "Made in ..." label on the products is only for the custom processing today in this global economy of globalization being supported more and more by ordinary folks. For ex., today, most of bearings in the world is being made in China while you don't see "Made in China" label on many of the bearings in the world today. My two cents.. no, I'm poor, only my one cent.

The 450 NH and most of the other used sickle mowers are easily offset, if needed, for use on your compact tractor--We have sold hundreds of used NH 450 and 451 mowers to owners of tractors around your HP--I agree that the MF mower is not as good. The JD 350 is right in there with good reliability and performance with the NH and IH Belt Drive mowers--If new is preferred? The Italian double action mowers, such as the Superior (G&S) or the D&T will do a superb job--Ken Sweet
