Lighting is much better from below. Your flag is well illuminated and beautiful.
Thank you. It is actually not quite as bright as my phone camera makes it appear but still a lot better than when I had the light on the ground vs. 5ft up.

And i use my BH to take it down to rerope it. Strap around BH raised high to hold it, then i pull out of sleeve in ground.

I went with the telescoping pole so I wouldn't have to mess with rope. I just hope mine is tough enough.

I put this up in approx. 1985. It was a pc of 2" well pipe 33 ft. long. It is approx. 4 ft. in the ground. The lights now are 2 out door LEDS 1400 lumens on a photo cell. The flag is a 4ft X 6 ft. There are at least two boat snaps with broken pulleys on top. The last fix was in 2011. So it is getting ready for another repair. Now I take it down some time in late fall and put back up in the early spring. Every home needs a flag. Later.

Ropes and pulleys have always been a pain to maintain. My telescoping pole has neither but not sure how long the plastic rotating flag attachment rings will last out in the weather. Your lighting illuminates your flag well.

My one picture did not show the lighting very well on the flag. Here is another picture from tonight that shows how well the lighting works. There a 2 LED spot lights with 1400 lumens each. Later

Agreed. The plastic rotating clips seem to be the weak link.

Beautiful! I want Leds but I'm thinking more of a bullet light that doesn't illuminate the trees or shrubs...only the flags.
