As to "floating" with a 2210 I have not been able to use float while moving forward at all no matter what. The 2210 is probably too light with the pivot point on the bucket frame too high to prevent front end hopping. I engage float while the bucket is still a foot off the ground and it settles nicely. The bucket tilt is still active in float.
I use my back blade in reverse to push LOTS of snow then push forward with the FEL. this seems to be very quick and efficient as the tractor is working both directions. It would be nice to have guage skids on the RB, anybody make em? I have a Frontier 72" blade. Using the FEL to scrap concrete is no problem. I level the bucket then lower it till it hits, then raise it about an inch and adjust the bucket level as I go to prevent gouging.
