Shovel attachment for fel

i can see how an add on bucket shovel could be useful on a smaller compact machine. but on larger M series for example, the attachment wouldn't last long at all. in addition, while there are lots of operators who use pallet forks for digging & as a pry bar, i avoid the practice.

Often when buying a tractor FEL you have a choice of regular or heavy duty bucket. Often the heavy duty is pre-punched for a second cutting edge.
Attachments like the quick spade works best with a heavy duty bucket.

Combo works great on pallet forks too. Sharpened the shovel blade can easily cut 2-3” roots.

Even a hand shovel takes some skill to use effectively and efficiently.
