My tractor is barely six months old and the other day I went to use it and FEL control was stuck. I got it working, but it's still sticky. Should be a warranty issue, but I'm pretty sure I can figure out how to fix my self. Do I call the dealer and have them come out or fix it myself?

Have the dealer fix it!
There will be plenty of "Fixes" you'll be doing in the future when the warranty is up!

Let the dealer know of the problem, maybe in the mean time WD40 outside of control that was sticking.

Let the dealer fix. If warranty is the same as it was 11 years ago, the loader warranty is only good for one year. Get it fixed before the year is up. I had my (Mahindra) loader valve replaced under warranty back in 2005. Mine had an internal leak causing the bucket to lower by itself at a rate greater than normal.

I just noticed the same thing yesterday on my FEL. turns out the collar on the control has a lock on it. Pull up on the collar and it should work

If this is a 30 series weather and lack of use will keep this happening... just pop it and it will free up after you work it a bit

Some simple remoil or self drying lube will help.

Wedge,
Is it sticky or binding. If there is play in your joystick, your spool threaded rod ends might have backed out and cause binding. I have tightened mine 2-3 times over the years. Needle nose vise grips help tighten it, after adding some lock tight to the threads. Last time this happened..................one spool rodend broke, but my local dealer had some in stock as another owner just ordered some for his broken rodends. It is a common problem. A left handed drill bit in a cordless drill spun the broken end out easily.

How is your 4530 doing other than this issue?
