Looking to get a 3710 hoe for my 2615, should I even bother or should I just trade up for a newer one with a backhoe. My tractor only has about 400hrs on it. Thoughts

Adding a BH afterwards isn't always wise or economically sensible. They seem to work out better when factory matched.

 . . . agree . . . get yourself a bigger tractor at this point, why not.

Price and availability would be the factor. If one wants a BH on a CUT then size will always be an issue.....

Yes RN, pretty much what I was saying . . . go bigger than the 2615.

If you can find a 3710 buy it. You may know the 2615/3710 was the factory package. I found a slightly used one for $4500 about 11 years ago. Even though I didn't have an immediate use for it, eventually it proved to be a very valuable tool. I don't use it much, but when I do, there's no replacement for the job. I even added a thumb. The 2615/3710 has plenty of digging power.

The 3710 comes with an installation kit which includes a different draw bar mount than your tractor has.

How did your venture go ?

I have only purchased two tractors; both came with a BH and FEL, and a Box Blade, but no other accessories, those I figured could be purchased as needed... but the BH, as of this point in time, I could not even think of NOT having one over the last 8-10 years, the best tool ever.

Post up what you have been up to in this purchase.
