Hi guys,

I bought a new Kioti RX7620 one month ago, and yesterday found out that the dealer I bought from (not the closest to where I live) will cease to exist at the end of August. Should I be worried about warranty etc? Has anyone had any experience with this happening?

Thanks for getting back to me, I shouldn't have any trouble finding a new dealer, its just a matter of whether they will honour the warranty if something goes wrong. I don't really know how the warranties work, I'll have to read up about it.

Thanks again.

No worries. Any Kioti Dealer will honour your warranty whether they sold you the tractor or not, so you're still good to go.

Ask the dealership (that's going out of business) to write a recommendation 'heads up' letter to the new dealership that you're going to now deal with. It'll smooth over any concerns you may have. The Service/Parts department of a dealership is a separate 'rice bowl' from sales anyway.

Hopefully you'll be able to find a great one that suits you.

Ditto on any dealer honoring the warranty. As a practical matter, the way Kioti has been building these tractors, chances are high you won't need to use the 2-year bumper-to-bumper warranty. Even higher for the 5 yr drive-train warranty.

My selling dealer closed up shop about a year after I made my purchase. I contacted the next-closest dealer and he said he'd be happy to service the machine or deal with warranty issues. I do all my own service and have never needed warranty work so the new dealer is now a parts supplier.

That is exactly my situation. The only thing that my original dealer ever did for me was to provide a replacement hydraulic hose on the b'hoe that had chaffed nearly through and I replaced it myself. After watching this forum for about 5 years it appears that the CK20 tractors are the most trouble free - I have had 'zero' problems with my 'Mini Power Brute' :)
