Does anyone have a shop manual for a 545D. I'm looking for info on the brake operations. Maybe a trouble shoot for the brakes page.

I don't have a manual for that machine. I can say that they are mechanical wet disc brakes, and if they are not stopping that machine, they are worn out. My guess is that if you drained the rear differential oil you would find chunks of brake disc material in there. You will have to pull the axle cases off to get to the brakes.

Hopefully somebody can help you with a manual. Have you tried the local dealer yet? The more friendly dealers will have no problem copying a few pages for you, especially if you go ahead and order a book.
