Shim kit for jd 3032e

Hello, I'm new here and just recently purchased a jd 3032e. So far i am very please with the tractor and have had no issues. However, I would like to be able to increase my FEL lifting capacities. I've been having a hard time finding a shim kit for a 3032e. Does anybody know if a shim kit exists for a 3032e or if there is any other way of turning the hydraulics up a little bit. Thanks

Relief valves are installed at the factory for a reason. Increasing relief valve could void the machine warranty.

The answer is yes, there are shims to adjust the relief pressure, but the purpose is to adjust for weak springs.

An adjusting nut.

Check your settings, they might be low.

Have you even tested the pressure yet? Most JD's don't use a "shim kit", but rather a bolt/jam nut type setup to adjust the PRV.-not sure what the 3038 uses.

I havnt checked the pressure yet. I'm not really sure how to. Also where is the adjusting nut located? Thanks

I am not sure where the PRV is on the 3038, I'd suggest you get the technical manual if you are going to start modifying your machine.

Are you using adequate rear ballast?
Why do you "feel" it needs to lift more?

Thanks for the video, I have plenty of ballast so that shouldn't be a problem (rear tires filled and cutter). I just need a couple hundred lbs of extra lift for loading and unloading round bales of hay on and off a trailer. The FEL almost picks them up now. It just needs a little extra boost

Did you figure this out? Need to do mine too. It just needs a little more so I can pickup my 1100lb generator.
