Mowing Shifter stuck in high gear

Have a 2006 Kubota MX5000. Yesterday was shredding and got on county road to get to other section of property.
Shifted from low to high(pretty sure I came to a complete stop).
had some resistance but got it to go to high. Can not get it out of high.
Was able to shift the other transmission gears(1-4)
Had to park, now of course can't
start it. Did get it back to shed before shut down.
Any suggestions what happened and where to go from here?

This sounds a little different than my L3400dt, when mine sticks in gear, I cant move the L H range lever or the 1-4 shifter. My clutch and presure plate is what causing my issue, I have to hold the brake down and jerk the clutch pedal to get it out of gear. Sounds like your problem is in the L H range area only, I'm assuming yours is a gear tractor. Good luck.

I had trouble with my l4400 when a stick got jammed underneath in the linkage while pulling logs. I had to loosen the bolts and readjust the linkage to get it working. Works fine after doing that.
