Hello, I have a ford 1300 4x4 that has the lek802d engine, one day while using it i heard a noise, and looked and saw oil leaking out of front of engine., which appeared
to be coming from the Harmonic Balancer, Has anyone ever had one of these come loose before? I don't know if something has broke on front end , or the retaining
bolt for (harmonic balancer) Crankshaft Pulley came/fell out, I assume it had one, not sure about now. anyone happen to know what size/length etc... this bolt should be? For Crank Pulley Bolt???
This tractor has been sitting for a few years since the oil leak happened, looking into trying to see what i need to find/fix to get it going again. By the way, after it happened, i was crazy enough to start it again, and it ran. don't know for sure, but figure if it was a busted crank it would maybe happen between the 2 pistons (would be my guess). Its been a long time ago, since this tractor failed on me, my PDF manuals i bought/aquired back then was in Sept 2013, so guess it has been a while.
