shell rotella $$$ big money folks!!

I purchased 15 /40 today, need to do a quick change on the dumptruck before full scale snow plowing. $8.89 per gallon, HOLY MOLLEY!!

Yes I got 3 or 4 gal at Advance last week, about the same price. not too bad considering it was 6.99 when gas was $1.50....

Went to TSC yesterday and saw it for $8.92/gallon...WOW!

I think Walmart's "SuperTech" (I think that's the name?) and Rural King's "Harvest" brand of oil is still cheaper than Rotella.

I believe the current shell rotella synthetic is a brand new formulation released this fall, check the shell site.

I purchased a case of 6 gallons of the old stuff for about $120 last year.

whether this applies depends on how much oil you use a year, but you can buy a 55 gallon barrel of Rotella at Sams club. last time I checked it was about 240 dollars a barrel which is a little over 2 bucks a quart.

not a big savings but since it qualifies as all fleet oil, its Ok to use in your gas powered equipment and vehicles also.

Unless I figured wrong. It figures out to $1.09 a quart. Good price.

If the oil you purchased meets the new CJ-4 spec that explains the price increase. CJ-4 oils will cost more than the previous CI-4/CI-4 Plus spec oils did.
