Shelf Life of Oil

I found about 3 gallons of Rotella T 15W-40 in my barn this weekend. Unopened, but at least 6 years old. Use it or recycle?

Use it. I'm using oil in my car I have had longer than that.

Use it, shake it up before putting it into the engine in case any additives have settled out.

I believe that oil will be good in a sealed
container for many many years as no heat
is applied to it as oil only breaks down under
extremely hot conditions like in engines
